hookers

TY and I played hooky (or is it hookie?) from church on sunday and took it upon ourselves to come up with something more exciting than Sunday School. It was rough but we did it.

and we were walking along the trail we found this little guy:

A little dramatic?

So what?
First time mama, you better watch it.
Between horror stories and getting fat
You would have to expect a little MOODINESS.

My darling husband couldn't be nicer. Or
More patient.
I have spent more money on KIX and apple juice
Then I spent on shoes last year.

At 10 weeks I had been to the doctor three times already.

A little dramatic?

They found a slight problem called a sub chorionic hemorrhage but thank goodness it ended up being sort of no big deal. My nine week pelvic rest lasted FOUR days. Haha! Our baby is so cute and only the size of a lime. I am already not buttoning my jeans. Also, it's a great thing I only bought pregnant shirts for the last two years because they all fit great!

I also am loving when people talk about home births or water births. I will never do either but I do enjoy stories.

I keep my what to expect book around as my new bible.

I even have the app. It's kind of gross having your baby compared to food. You know? A lemon? An orange seed? A prune? Where do these people come up with this stuff?

I am always always tired. I get home and want to curl up in bed. No more bike rides or tennis for this kid. Poor Tyler has had to resort to the driving range. Slash, I'm sure he's totally fine with that. ;)

I think there is a road map printed on my body. My veins are HuGE!

My kids at school keep asking when I'm going to push the baby out? or how it got inside me. Ooooh, you darling children, go home and ask your mommy and daddy about that. Or I tell them that God was tired of babysitting so he sent them down. (I work at a Christian school, it's ok).

I had a friend ask me if I had started nesting over a text, that convo ended real fast. No nursery. No clothes, yet. Nothing. My nana sent me a quilt that immediately went to the storage room.

I guess I want to just be in my second trimester before sending out the birth announcements. Just kidding.

I also have no memory of what I just wrote. This baby steals all of my blood so none of it can get To my brain.

Ugh.

I am getting way excited though. This will be the 12th grandchild on tylers side.

The FIRST for my side and the first great as well. But that's because I am an only child on one side and the oldest by 12 years on the other.

I am looking forward to being a mom and going through the next stages of pregnancy with my cute husband by my side.

I am so lucky.

This baby is going to have 2 siblings to look up to. Not to mention I will have three kids to spoil! It's already hard enough not buying everything for m & m. Especially all the Lego sets in the world!

So.

A little dramatic?

Whatever.

california and Arizona

I am not sure why but I did not get very many pictures this trip. Oops. Life is so busy as a Mom. JUST KIDDING.

Henry and I had a great time while waiting for everyone. He tried to open up the nail polish that I left out, he tried to suck on the camera string and then somehow managed to con me into giving him candy. I absolutely adore this child. Before he just made me tired watching him do whatever it is that Henry does but now I can't get enough. I don't know if its because he calls me Bubba and Geoff, BUFF??

typical...

A little much??

I caught these little hoodlums on the way out. They are getting way too young for this.

Ty starts school this week and also turns thirrrrr...... stay tuned.

Off the hook and TOTALLY IN CONTROL...

I turned 23 this past weekend and sometimes I am pretty sure I act 83. On my actual birthday I napped for almost 2 hours after church, it was heaven. I go to bed at 10 p.m. every night and rise early. I make dinner the night before dinner so we are not eating at 8 (because thats waaaaay too late!). I watch Frasier. Not only do I like Frasier...  I LOVE FRASIER. I enjoy watching MSNBC specials about prisons or kidnappings. Which explains why I can't sleep when Tyler is gone. I am exhausted by 2 p.m. and have at least 4 snacks through out my day. I only last 30 minutes at whatever activity we choose to do, HIKE, TENNIS OR BIKE. I said GROOVY for the first time the other day. I can relate to anyone 25 years older than me. I really love Relief Society and everyone is so old.

On saturday Ty and I took the tram up to the top of snowbird and then hiked around and down a little ways. We then tried to go to my favorite curry place which turned out to be a total nightmare so we ended at RED ROBIN. We also saw Inception which I highly recommend.

THANKS FOR THE BIRTHDAY WEEKEND TYLER!!! I LOVE YOU. These last two years have been the best years of my life. I am blessed to have an amazing husband and two wild step kids who keep me on my toes.
