8 weeks left
I can't believe I only have 8 weeks! Ok, more like 8w3d but who's counting? We are so excited to meet this girl. We will be spending this weekend getting her nursery ready and washing clothes. I'm so glad we have everything we need already, it's much cheaper this time around. I am starting to feel a little bit sad that my alone time with Autumn is coming to an end but I know she will be a great big sister to this girl.

Lynsi came into town for a quick visit and she brought Drewbie with her. Autumn and Drew got along great and it may be because thy are only 2 days apart! Speaking of which... They will both be 2 in less than 3 weeks!! Crazy!

Ty and I are taking Autumn to sea world in San Diego in 2 weeks. My dr advised me to stay put (sort of) but I think they have hospitals in California? I have come such a long way in the being flexible department since having Autumn!
This picture sums up my week. Autumn has become obsessed with Barbie! OBSESSED! It's annoying. Ty and I even got into a fight about her being addicted to my phone over it. Here is a picture that turned herself into a fairy...

I love that she loves Barbie but not the digital kind. It's weird and like I said, annoying.

Flying by
This pregnancy seems like it has taken forever but really, it hasn't. I go back and forth with this being our last one and I'm not sure how I feel about it anymore. Ty announced to me that he wants 6 kids and at first my heart dropped and I couldn't imagine having 2 more after this! Then I got excited and one more isn't sounding so bad... Especially if we get that BOY next. But we won't because we want it so bad. ;) 13 weeks left and like I have said a million times, I'm hoping to go 3 weeks early like I did with Autumn but thats very doubtful.

Ty and I were asked to speak at a youth fireside in front of the new Gilbert temple and it was such a great experience. I had never been to one before and I was super impressed with how many kids woke up to get there at 8 a.m.. I was very unprepared and decided to speak about being a convert (what I know best) and then Tyler gave an amazing talk on his past experience as a teen and how as a couple we get to attend the temple regularly. It was so nice afterwards hearing from parents about how touched their kids were by our speaking to them. I hope that from our experiences we are able to make a difference some how.

Leaves!
The kids are loving this super cold weather we are having. I however am not. I think I finally acclimated to this Arizona weather because 50 degrees is freeeeezing! The leaves just barely fell this week so they are taking full advantage of playing in them and my newly mopped floors can tell. Autumn doesn't seem to be phased by the cold and I love it!

We don't own a rake anymore... Weird.

So, we are having another girl and couldn't be more thrilled! It took a few days to adjust to the idea of two girls but Autumn is such a sweetheart that I am already excited.

Only 17 Weeks left!!

I came into my room to find this girl dressed in my glasses and her daddy's scarf. LOVE HER.

We got to go to see Life of Pi in 3d with Marleys class and it was so entertaining. Miles and I were freaked out through most of it but luckily we had each other... I think he even screamed like a girl a few times.

Mars and Autumn are still connected at the hip and fall more in love with each other every day. So sweet!

And this weather is awesome! We are loving playing outside after school and the weekend weather has been amazing. So NOT looking forward to summer :(

Madi is in town from her busy DC life and her and Autumn have been getting along great! She's so sweet.

Christmas is over officially but we have a few surprises left for mars and miles. Stay tuned for next week!!

Being Thankful
With Thanksgiving around the corner it's hard not to think about what I am thankful for. Mine are mostly the cliche things like family and amazing friends that I have met since moving to AZ. Or of course my kids and husband. But when I really, really start to think about things I get emotional (dang pregnancy). Being a member of the LDS church has been so wonderful for me. I said it. I'm not ashamed or embarrassed but I never talk about this stuff. I grew up without religion but with a God and that's all I knew. Being a Mormon works for me and I love it. People can judge and old friends can say what they want but I don't know what would have happened to me or my life without it.
Like being part of a church that has welcomed me with open arms and has had no judgement on my past life is amazing. Growing up in Utah used to be a tough thing if you weren't LDS. I wasn't invited to a lot events from friends at school, I wasn't asked to stay for dinner and nobody was allowed at my house. You could say I had a few resentments towards the church for many years. My parents especially didn't agree with how I was being treated so they also disliked Mormons. I am not sure what changed as I got older but I started meeting Mormons who weren't all judgy. They cared about me and were really good friends when I needed them. When we started going to church before I actually became a member, so many people wanted to know me for me. They weren't just trying to get me into their "cult". I remember praying for the first time and crying afterwards. I knew this was for me and I was so lucky to have in-laws who were on my side. My husband was able to baptize me after he, himself wasn't part of the church for quite some time. They didn't care. He was worthy and so was I. It was exciting and brought us so much closer together. We were later sealed in the Temple with only our family there and it was so special. I'm glad I had my wedding but this was just so intimate. When they brought Autumn in to be sealed to Tyler and I as a family, most of started to tear up, she looked beautiful. She stuck her hand on ours and it was like she knew exactly what to do at 8 months old. Magical is the only word I can think of but that sounds way lame. But ok, it was so MAGICAL. We have gone through so much in the last few years and again, I am so thankful. It's been a growing experience and I'm so glad that my husband and I are able to grow together and not separate.
When we moved in July I didn't know what to expect. I was nervous and on our very first Sunday in our new ward, I broke down and I cried after church. I didn't feel welcomed, I didn't like anyone and I just wanted to be back and safe in our previous ward. Tyler looked at me and was just as frustrated but without being angry he said that we were going to get through this and that it was all part of the plan. As long as we remained strong and kept on going we would be blessed. Well, he was right. We have met so many people who coincidentally felt the same way we did that very first Sunday. Now, we have callings, we have teaching assignments and have even been nice enough to sub in nursery. Funny how that works....
I am so thankful for my kids. I hate using the word "STEP" kids. I love that I get 4 kids and only had to be pregnant twice! ;) Marley and Miles and Autumn get along so well and for that I am grateful. M and M are so sweet to their little sister... Even when she bugs.
I couldn't ask for a better husband. Not that I had asked before but if I did... He couldn't be better then what I have now. Things can be tough but having a husband like Ty just makes things so much better. I love that I get to stay at home thanks to him working hard. I love his smile and sense of humor. I love his dedication to all 3 kids. He's an amazing story teller. He's just an amazing guy with a really full heart who has worked extremely hard to be where he is. I'm so proud of him.

Hey
We have had a few busy months but I have a feeling with the holidays coming up, it's just going to get busier! Mars and Miles turned 9 and 10 in October. Marley and I planned a girls dinner with Grammy, my mom and two of her friends. She chose Charlestons and cold stone for her big night out. Miles took 4 friends to play laser tag and from what I heard, they had a blast.

Autumn is coming up on 20 months and I say this every time but serious!? Why does the time fly? She is hilarious! She's jumping, talking and dancing up a storm. She's independent and that comes along with a few messes but we manage. I love being her Mom. I am so grateful for her and for all of the things I learn from her sweet spirit. FHE has been a new experience but she's loving it so we will keep on FHE'ing it up.

Autumn also got to trick or treat this year and it was the cutest thing I have ever seen. Obviously. We found it appropriate that she go as Miss Piggy since she's bigger then her 2 yr old cousins (32.7 lbs as of Monday). I wish I had gotten better pictures but she was always so excited once the costume was on!

We had some family photos taken and they turned out amazing! Beka Lowe took them this year and I would recommend her to everyone! The kids were crazy but she was so patient!

We are also expecting another White baby in April and are thrilled. I'm over the sick part and getting excited to find out what we are having. April can't get here fast enough!

This picture is funny to me... Autumn snuck into her candy and this was the end result.
